    • Customer Solutions Engineer

      Responsibilities:

    • Consult premier Asia Pacific customers to assess technical needs around datafeeds, Analytics and general automation.
    • Review and troubleshoot application configurations.
    • Provide superior technical service and build successful long-term relationships with internal and external clients.
    • Improve team productivity through the co-development and application of tools and optimizing workflow.
    • Provide on-going technical training and support around Analytics
    • Develop ad-hoc scripts for customer reporting solutions.
    • Analyze customer feed systems and identify inefficiencies.
    • Work with third party technologies to help integrate feeds and consult on workflow solutions.
    • Write client libraries in C/C++, Java, .NET, Python, Perl, and/or PHP.

      Requirements:

    • Written and spoken fluency in English, and in at least one Asian language. Chinese preferred.
    • University degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
    • 5+ years of Sales Engineering or Professional Services/Consulting. 5+ years experience in Asia Pacific strongly preferred.
    • 1+ year in internet advertising preferred. Experience in web hosting or web analytics a plus.
    • 2+ years software engineering experience preferred.
    • HTML, XML, and scripting programming experience.
    • Experience (2+ years) in two or more of the following: Java, C/C++, .NET, Python, Perl, or PHP.
    • Expertise (3+ years) in database schema design, programming, and performance tuning, specifically using MySQL.
    • Experience with web services (SOAP, WSDL, and Apache Axis).
    • Training in project management and/or statistical analysis preferred.
    • External client facing experience (3+ years) related to a sales environment. Experience creating technical documentation or training curriculum a plus.
    • Experience working in UNIX and Windows environments.
    • Ability to work independently, to think creatively and solve problems.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team development.
    • Experience leading a high performance team.
    • Proven track record interfacing with engineering teams.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to travel up to 35%.
