      • ASD Analyst – Oracle ERP – Manufacturing Module

       Requirements:

      • Must be fluent in Mandarin and English languages
      • Must be able to travel to Shenzhen, CN once or twice a month
      • High technical capability and understanding of Oracle ERP's Discrete Manufacturing module
      • Must have 3+ years of experience
      • High understanding of Customer Business Impact when faced with Customer situation or Escalation
      • Resolution management skills including negotiation
      • High level of tehcnical capability to evaluate appropriate workarounds with in customer environments
      • Highly developed communication skills verbal and written
      • Responsibilities:
      • Comprehensive knowledge of the customer's environment allowing for support of end-to-end functional business flows. This includes:
      • Oracle product issues
      • CEMLI
      • Complementary applications
      • Account administration
      • Global product support
      • Manage Service Requests via Teleservice ticketing system
      • Triages and prioritizes new Service Requests
      • Ensures end-to-end re-creation steps are documented within the ticket
      • Executes test cases (upon automation) after patch application in each environment
      • Coordinates final functional sign-off with end-user
      • Create coordinating TARS within Oracle Metalink when applicable
      • Transfer/monitor service requests with other Oracle organizations: I.e. Product Support, Product Development, Oracle On Demand Operations, etc
      • Escalate Service Requests as necessary
      • Monitors progress issues until resolved
      • Assist with end user training as required
      • Acting Subject Matter Expert (Works service requests on customer's behalf until resolved)
      • Walks ticket through Change Control Board processes as needed.

      • Roles & Responsibilities
      • Provide technical or project leadership or support as needed in the design, development, deployment, user engagement and research on prototypes to explore new business, service or product concepts.
      • Work with the general manager of incubation, product group senior managers, business strategists, product planners, and other management and team members to identify projects and talent with significant business potential that leverage MSRA expertise and technologies for potential incubation projects
      • Recruit new startup leads with Redmond product group program management and/or v.1 product planning experience to work on approved 3-6 month rotation assignments on incubation projects with MSRA in Beijing. 
      • Ensure that project teams remain well connected with appropriate counterparts in MSR, other incubation groups, Redmond business and product groups and other organizations as appropriate. 
      • Facilitate selection of “big bet” projects for more focused business development and investment and provide support or leadership as needed on business case development and executive engagement for further investment where appropriate.
      • Provide program management and/or multidisciplinary leadership for selected projects from idea stage through v.1 product and beyond.
      • Assist the General Manager in project tracking, reporting, portfolio management, demos, and other tasks as needed
      • Build relationships of trust and respect with business and product groups resulting in successful adoption and integration of startup businesses into Microsoft (and/or licensing to 3rd parties as appropriate).

       Required Qualifications

      • Proven track record as an innovator who creates business value and solves significant business and technical challenges
      • Strong user centered product conceptualization and design skills.
      • Exceptional organizational agility and people skills
      • Demonstrated technical and project leadership on an innovative product or service
      • 3+ years experience shipping software as a product group program manager or product unit manager, including leadership on a v.1 product or service
      • Outstanding communication skills, and the proven ability to collaborate with, negotiate with, and deliver results that meet or exceed expectations for people at all levels and across organizational and functional boundaries
      • Ability and willingness to work as a hands-on individual contributor, team member, or team leader as needed.
      • Recognized as a strategic thinker and strategic leader with strong problem solving skills
      • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships of trust and mutual respect across the company and with any external partners.
      • Ability to work in China and to travel.  Fluency in English required. Fluency in Mandarin highly desired.
