- Minimum 3 years experience in mainframe DB2 Performance tuning
- including the following:
- DB2 Utilities (unload/load/backup/recover/copy/reorg etc) and tools (Apptune/File-aid etc) experience
- Data-model/DDL and SQL review and maintenance experience
- Application support and DB maintenance (include re-org)
experience:
- DB2v7 or higher Experience
- Strong Mainframe skills (TSO/JCL etc)
- Strong communication skills (both spoken and written) in English
- Must have programming, analysis and design experience, preferably
Cobol and CICS:
- Continuous Process Improvement oriented.
- Past experience in conducting DB2 Performance and Design Training for developers
